In the last upcoming weeks to the final deadline there have been a few problems we have had to overcome for our thriller film.
Firstly, the camera equipment we have used so far is a high tech camera that provides excellent quality of filming and for a short period of time when we needed it to film it was being used by the owner. This delayed our filming of our film as we couldnt use another camera as the quality of the footage wouldnt have been the same. Which would then have affected the quality of the film outcome.
The main problem of the making process is that our main character left school during the filming process which caused us a huge decision whether to keep the footage we had already shot and make the thriller out of the minimal filming we had or to completely start again with a different main character to make the story understandable and clear to the audience. If we had left the character with Callie this then could have made our thriller not make sense and not clear on what the story would be about, we couldnt film the remaining scenes left with another character as again it wouldnt be clear to the audience who the main focus is on.
We have made the decision that re-filming the thriller with a different main character is the best possible idea because the footage we already have is too short and isnt enough to be able to link together and make sense. We will now need to alter our blog and re-do evaluations that include pictures of analysis of our main character.
